Complete all tasks before the Impostor catches you — WASD/Arrows to move, E to interact!
Among Us was developed by indie studio InnerSloth and released in 2018 — but didn't become famous until 2020. For two years it sat with a small audience, until popular streamers on Twitch and YouTube discovered it during pandemic lockdowns and brought millions of new players. By October 2020, the game had 500 million active players — one of the fastest user growth events in gaming history.
The concept draws from the classic "Mafia" party game and the 1982 sci-fi film The Thing, where paranoia about hidden enemies drives the plot. Players complete tasks while hidden Impostors try to eliminate crew members. Our browser version captures the core task-completion gameplay with 5 mini-games and an AI Impostor that actively hunts you.
