How to Score 500+ in Snake

Snake feels simple until you run out of room. Here's how to plan your path, avoid trapping yourself, and keep a clear exit at every stage of the game.

  • Always leave a gap — never fill a corner completely
  • Hug walls early to keep the center clear
  • Plan your turn before pressing the key
  • Chase food in a U-pattern when the snake is long

Tetris Tips: Clear Lines Faster

The key to high Tetris scores is not speed — it's keeping the stack flat. Learn the techniques that top players use to keep clearing lines at high speeds.

  • Save the I-piece for a 4-line Tetris when possible
  • Fill holes immediately — don't bury them

Wordle Strategy: Best Starting Words

Your first word is the most important. Pick one that covers the most common letters and you'll almost always know 3–4 letters by guess two.

  • Best openers: CRANE, AUDIO, STARE, RAISE
  • Cover vowels A, E, I, O early
  • Yellow letters are still in the word — move them
  • Use process of elimination on guess 3

2048: How to Always Reach the Tile

Most players lose because they move tiles in all four directions randomly. One simple rule — corner strategy — makes 2048 much easier to beat.

  • Pick one corner and keep your highest tile there
  • Move in only 2–3 directions: avoid the corner's direction
  • Build a descending chain toward the corner
  • Never move up if your high tile is in the bottom row

Flappy Bird: Getting Past Pipe 10

The first 5 pipes are reaction practice. After that it's about rhythm — a consistent tap tempo that lets you pass each gap without overcorrecting.

  • Tap once every ~0.8 seconds to hover mid-screen
  • Look at the gap ahead, not the bird itself
  • Adjust only for unusually high or low gaps
  • Breathe — tense fingers kill rhythm

Chess Basics: Beat the AI in 10 Moves

The AI in our chess game prioritizes capturing your highest-value pieces. Knowing this, you can set traps and control the center to force early wins.

  • Control e4/d4 with your pawns on move 1
  • Get both knights out before move 5
  • Castle early to protect your king
  • Offer a low-value piece to lure the AI out of position

Quick Tips

Fast advice for popular games

💣

Minesweeper — Start with corners

Your first click is always safe. Click a corner first — corners statistically open the most area. When you see a numbered cell, count its surrounding unrevealed cells. If the count matches the number, they're all mines. Flag them and the adjacent safe cells open up.

🔢

Sudoku — Scan rows, columns, and boxes together

Don't focus on one area. For each number 1–9, scan every row and column it appears in. Where the remaining rows and columns intersect inside a 3×3 box, that's likely where the number goes. This "cross-hatching" technique solves most easy and medium puzzles without guessing.

🍪

Cookie Clicker — Buy Grandma second, not Cursor

The Cursor upgrade costs 15 cookies and only adds 0.1 cookies/sec. The Grandma at 100 cookies gives 0.5/sec — five times the return. Click manually until 100 cookies, buy the Grandma, then coast. Buy Farms only after you have 3–4 Grandmas working.

🔌

Among Us — Fix Wires first

In the Among Us mini-game, click the left wire color first, then find the matching color on the right. The colors are randomized but always match one-to-one. Wires is the fastest task to complete — do it first before the impostor gets close. Use WASD to keep moving while not doing a task.

📄

Paper.io — Trail short, claim often

Long trails are dangerous — the bot can cross them to kill you. Make small, fast loops close to your territory rather than big sweeping claims. Each return to your area locks in the territory and removes the trail. Win at 50% claimed, so even small steady gains add up.

🏈

Retro Bowl — Wait for receivers to clear defenders

After you snap the ball, wait a moment before throwing. Receivers run set routes — they'll naturally create separation from defenders if you give them 1–2 seconds. Aim your throw slightly ahead of where the receiver is moving, not directly at them, so the ball arrives as they do.

Connections: How to Spot the Tricky Group

Every Connections puzzle has a "trap" — words that seem to fit one category but actually belong to another. The purple group (hardest) usually contains these red herrings.

  • Start with the category you're most confident about
  • Look for "___ something" or "something ___" word patterns
  • If 5 words seem to fit a group, one is the trap
  • Save your guesses — don't rush the purple group

Strands: Finding the Spangram First

The spangram is a word that spans the entire board and defines the theme. Finding it first reveals where the theme words are clustered, making the rest of the puzzle much easier.

  • The spangram always touches two opposite edges
  • Trace long diagonal paths across the whole grid
  • Think about the theme — the spangram names it directly
  • Theme words cluster around the spangram's area

Mini Crossword: Solve the Short Clues First

A 5×5 crossword fills in fast once you have crossing letters. Prioritize 3-letter answers — they're the easiest to guess and every letter they give you narrows down the longer words.

  • Across clues often give you vowels in useful positions
  • If stuck, guess common 3-letter words: THE, AND, ARE
  • Use crossing letters to confirm or eliminate options
  • Check your work before hitting Submit
